Selected Projects
Pulse with Annette Bening
Emmy-nominated Producer / Writer / Editor for feature length documentary shown on local PBS affiliate KTEH during June pledge drive. Pulse documented the creation of "Pulse: The Rhythm of Life", an original stage musical by the San Jose Children's Musical Theater based on the thoughts and stories of a community of sick and disabled children brought together by the internet. Documentary production included interviewing the children, working with the creators of the musical, creating fund-raising videos, and securing Annette Bening as host. Program aired nationally in 2000.
Real Science!
Emmy-nominated Producer / Editor for nationally syndicated, Emmy award-winning children's science program, currently finishing its 8th season on PBS. Program features a scientist and "kid reporter" exploring an interesting scientific problem or career. Unique segments have included visits to CalStart to test drive new electric vehicles, Mount St. Helens to see the how the environment is recovering from the 1980 eruption, and the Nike Biomechanics Research Laboratory to see how star athletes and scientists are designing new products. For each of approximately ten segments per year, production includes identifying appropriate segment topics, recruiting and briefing scientists, on-location production, and edit completion. Program reaches a weekly audience of eight million through 250 PBS stations.
Better Homes Tour
Producer / Editor / Production Manager for a TV tour of bay area properties created for Better Homes Realty. Each 30-minute program showcased 40-50 homes for sale and included promotions for new home developments. Production included working directly with agents to identify featured properties, production management for local teams, voice-over direction, on-line editing, and delivery of final program within strict production deadlines. Program aired weekly on KRON from 1991-1993.

Producer / Director / Editor for high-impact corporate videos. Videos were made for sales, training, communications, special events, trade shows, documentation and other purposes. Distribution included VHS, CD-ROM, DVD and the internet. Clients included Hewlett-Packard, Microsoft, Pacific Bell, AT&T, Grubb & Ellis, Jamba Juice, Urban Land Institute, Sheraton ITT, Panda Express restaurants, and business development projects for local, county and state governments throughout the US, Mexico and the Caribbean.
